About the principal:
Dave Oldham, a serial entrepreneur started diving in 2002 when taking time-out between business projects, he thrives on new challenges and excitement. After mastering snowboarding, parachuting and becoming a ship skipper he was introduced to scuba diving through an outdoor adventure club based in Leeds.
His motivation:
Now several years on and hundreds of dives later Dave enjoys sharing his experience with others and gains endless fun from teaching others to dive.
Travel - Perks of the job !
He travels worldwide, often to accompany working professional groups to conferences, meetings & special assignments. He goes with families and groups on holiday who enjoy the confidence and reassurance of having along their own dedicated Scuba Diving Instructor and Emergency First Responder.

Who are SCUBA-DO ?
We are a group of diving friends, some just dive, others are trained and experienced diving educators dedicated to close personal service for you, your family, friends & colleagues.
Why are we called Scuba-DO ?
SCUBA DIVING - DAVE OLDHAM was the natural choice of name initially.
This name quickly became abbreviated to how it is known today:- SCUBA-DO.
Where are we based ?
West Yorkshire, England.
Where do we teach ?
We teach scuba diving at home, in sports centres, private pools, dive centres, inland water resorts and of course in the sea.
We can teach you locally, nationally or jet off with you to warmer waters, in fact anywhere that you want to learn we will teach you - worldwide!
Class sizes:
Group lessons or One-to-One with your instructor. The choice is yours. Our limits on group numbers ensures smaller class sizes and better quality of training, providing adequate personal attention for all our student divers for more fun and most importantly - better safety.
